dc.description.abstract The reign of Miron Barnovschi-Movilă (1627-1629), went on during a difficult period of history of Principality of Moldavia, on the political plan and on the religious one. The cultural church relationships with the neighboring states have a specific importance for the ruler in this period. In this context, the relations of Principality of Moldavia are registered with diverse orthodox centers of Polish Kingdom, especially with the Orthodox Fraternity from Lvov, the Muscovite Russia and Athonite monasteries. Therefore, these relations are materialized by: the subvention and the finishing of the construction of the Church of Assumption of Mother of God from Lvov; the trial of buying the icons from Russia, required for some churches of the country; the subvention and the dedication of some Moldavian monasteries to Athonite monasteries. en_US
