Abstract:
Knowing students' motivation to adapt to academia is essential in the development of volitional strategies in improving teaching methods and generally increasing the quality of learning and student life.
The realized study proves that although the index of prevailing opinion at students is positive with regard to adaptation to academic life, however, the main difficulties facing are related to the specific adaptation to higher education in terms of the pace of teaching - learning and management the information’s volume, a greater awareness from teachers who teach these students about these difficulties are necessary in order to help them manage and prevent demotivation, failure or even abandon them
