Problematica reintegrării sociale a vârstnicilor fără adăpost în Republica Moldova

Abstract

The issue of older people care is a focus area of the last decades, addressing multidisciplinary both by sociologists and economists, policy analysts, physicians, psychologists and social workers in an aging progressive population and the imbalance between the younger generation and the elderly. In Moldova, the elderly are is a vulnerable social group at risk of poverty, marginalization and discrimination. The situation of the elderly was not a priority area of social policy, the unfortunate consequence of a deficient system of social protection of older people requiring reform III. Social assistance is a necessity of our society is a relief to those who suffer, a look back to those less fortunate than us. Social assistance should provide help to people with special needs in all situations and cases where this is possible. Social worker's role remains the same, regardless of the time that any country is experiencing, especially in periods of transition, the problems facing society as a whole or individuals taken separately worsens
