| dc.description.abstract | Art and design therapy has evolved alongside new artistic trends, offering innovative opportunities for expression and development to children with disabilities. Among the most relevant trends are the use of digital art and augmented reality, which enable the access to creation through interactive and adaptive tools. Moreover, sensory art therapy integrates a variety of materials, enhancing perception and motor coordination. Expressive and participatory art encourages communication and collaboration, while virtual reality provides immersive experiences that eliminate physical barriers. Inclusive design plays an essential role in adapting educational materials and environments to the specific needs of children. Additionally, ecological art promotes not only creativity but also environmental awareness. Through these methods, art therapy supports emotional, social, and cognitive development of children, offering them a safe and stimulating space for exploration and learning. These practices are transforming art education into an accessible and efficient tool for the inclusion and progress of children with disabilities. | en_US |
