Abstract:
In this article, we investigate the possibility of self-expression through creativity and new technologies in art education with focus on the creative process and inclusive activities in the vulnerable groups that need inclusion, communication and integration. Both art and technologies offer tools of self-expression, facilitate learning in various disciplines and can help the process of self-discovery and can contribute to the well-being of the pupils. Some of the tools we mention are part of a project, MentUwell, designed to find solutions for preserving the well-being of migrant adolescents during wartime crisis, and communication through art is one of the components. The first part of the article delimitates the concept of “inclusion”, continues with a description of the tools and activities meant to encourage collaboration and self-expression and reaches the new technologies and interdisciplinarity, the way they can be used as tools for overcoming isolation, discrimination and how they can help inclusion.
