Abstract:
Methodology of teaching foreign languages has always developed in the direction of connecting to learning theories, specific to the societies they belong to. The textbook for learning a foreign language has gone through different stages, enrolled in various pedagogical approaches. The interactive textbook represents the innovation brought by new technologies in the action-based approach – approach focused on the development of general skills, classified into knowledge, skills, attitudes, with the potential to fundamentally transform the way new generations of teachers are prepared for the challenges and opportunities of digital education.
