The author examines the subject that is mainly related to the formation of scientific knowledge in the philosophy of symbolic forms. Thus, the function of meaning in this system does not refer so much to the real phenomenon of the world as to the fact that it is, through language, a symbolic property of the spirit/thought. Therefore, language is, simultaneously, both the instrument and the material for the constitution of scientific knowledge. This bivalence creates some controversies between thinking, language and reality, especially regarding the logical substantiation of the truth of knowledge. In this context, the materialist theory of knowledge, comparatively examined in the text, starts from the data of empirical reality. However, this conception also has certain methodological inaccuracies. The author considers and argues that the methodologies applied by these two philosophical styles (idealist/symbolic and /empirical/materialist) are, to a large extent, complementary. In the system of idealistic symbolism, the content of thought is formed starting from the meaning of words, logically applied in the process of thinking, as notions, judgments and reasonings. The role and value of scientific knowledge in the didactic process/discourse, in the formation of theoretical and practical knowledge, skills and competences are analyzed. |
