Abstract

In the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, characterized by the rapid development of technologies, special attention is being paid to the integration of information and communication technologies (ICT) into the educational process. Digital literacy, which includes skills in working with digital and internet resources, has become an essential competency for the successful adaptation of students to the modern world. Specifically, the implementation of ICT resources and web tools in history teaching in the Republic of Moldova is a strategic necessity to improve the quality of education and student outcomes. The application of innovative technologies activates the learning process, making it more interactive and motivating. Students, who have grown up in the digital age, tend to perceive information through visual and interactive media, which requires changes in traditional teaching methods. In this context, it is important to study effective practices for mastering ICT resources and web tools that contribute to the development of critical thinking, improvement of analytical skills, and increase interest in history. The relevance of the research is determined by the need to introduce new technologies into the educational system of Moldova to enhance its competitiveness, improve the quality of historical education, and prepare students for the challenges of the digital age.
