Abstract:
Intercultural dialogue plays a crucial role in ethnocultural education, contributing to the development of an inclusive and harmonious society. Ethnocultural education aims to transmit the values, traditions and language of an ethnic group, being essential for the formation of intercultural competences of students. It encourages respect and understanding between different cultures, facilitating intercultural dialogue, which is becoming increasingly important in the context of globalization and increased diversity of populations. In schools, intercultural dialogue is a fundamental tool for promoting tolerance and respect for ethnic differences, and this must be actively cultivated. Education for a multicultural world is supported by international organizations, such as the UN and UNESCO, which emphasize the need to prepare younger generations to live in a multiethnic environment. Educational programs, such as those for students of Lipovean Russian ethnicity, support the integration of diversity and the promotion of education for all. In this sense, educational activities and intercultural events, such as festivals and joint celebrations, facilitate interactions between different ethnic groups and strengthen bonds between students from diverse cultures.
