Abstract

The anthology Cafeneaua Nevermore represents a literary synthesis of the evolution of Arcadie Suceveanu’s thought and imagination. The volume offers a selection of the most representative poems written between 1982 and 2003. Each poem conveys a depth of ideas and messages that resonate profoundly with contemporaneity. The poet unveils an inner universe shaped by profound sensitivities toward life and death, the present and the past, and a fragile existence sapped by inner feelings and illusions. It is the poet's sense of reality that enables him to explore this panorama of existence, both as a creator and as a mere mortal.
