Abstract:
Writing in an 18th-century manner, Arcadie Suceveanu praised the Romanian language through some of the most beautiful poems. The breadth of his work grants the poet a status of universality. He immortalized the Romanian language through his tender and stirring words, becoming and remaining a pillar that upholds the language across the entire Romanian space, alongside the great representative writers of the nation. Arcadie Suceveanu carved a personal poetic path, transposing universal human values into his works, while his metaphorical language elevates the Romanian language in elegiac tones. As an admirer and preserver of this nation's cultural heritage, he is part of the constellation of heirs who safeguard the pure face of history.
