Communication is a specifically human activity, considered both an art and a science that can be learned, or a tool that can help us succeed both personally and professionally. At the same time, communication is the fundamental way of psychosocial interaction between people, a process of spiritual connection that requires the correct and efficient knowledge and use of the elements of language. A competent speaker knows what, when, how, and to whom to speak, and takes care of the quality and quantity of the vocabulary used in the communication process, the observance of speaking/communication norms, and the culture of speech. Communication is classified into verbal and nonverbal communication, with verbal communication occurring in both oral and written forms through the use of words, as signs of language. When talking about communication, we must refer to the language system, speech, language, and context. In the communication process, for it to be persuasive and constructive, we must consider the interlocutor, the context, certain norms, as well as the denotation and connotation of words |
