dc.description.abstract The content of this article reveals the role of the impact of gender differences on assertive communication in preadolescents. The topicality of the analysis of this topic arises from the fact that the rapid changes taking place at present bring to the fore essential aspects related to the complexity, quality and importance of assertive communication in preadolescent children. Preadolescent age is a rather difficult period for the child in terms of communication with peers, with adults, in the formation of the social position, so the preadolescent requires both understanding and support. In this context, a major role is played by the gender factor. As the results of several studies conducted at school ages show, it is important to identify and understand how the perception of gender roles, gender inequalities affect relationships, including assertive communication. Appropriately addressing these differences can contribute to the development of effective strategies for promoting assertive communication among preadolescents, having a positive impact on interpersonal relationships and their psychological well-being, and can provide opportunities for interventions and positive changes in education and social practice. en_US
