Abstract

The article represents a theoretical-applied study that highlights the role and importance of museum education in the professionalization of students in the field of visual arts. The purpose of the investigation is to provide a theoretical and applied foundation for the museum education process as a key factor in the professionalization of students in the visual arts field, through the development and implementation of effective pedagogical strategies aimed at enhancing students' academic performance, general culture, and aesthetic intelligence, thus ensuring high-quality professional training for a successful career adapted to current socio-cultural realities. The study briefly describes the basic concepts and some researchers’ perspectives on the significant impact of museum education in optimizing the initial training process of students in the field of visual arts. Furthermore, an array of innovative pedagogical strategies is proposed to intensify this process in higher education institutions specializing in the visual arts. Additionally, examples of good educational practices are presented, illustrating the importance and necessity of museum education in the professionalization of future specialists.
