Early childhood, especially the 4-5 age range, is critical for cognitive development, laying the foundation for future learning and overall child development. During these years, a child’s brain is developing rapidly and is receptive to environmental influences, and early educational interventions have a significant impact. Preschool education is moving towards interactive, child-centered methods, recognizing the benefits of active learning. Interactive methods improve preschoolers’ cognitive skills, stimulating logical thinking, creativity, problem solving, and decision-making. This article explores the importance of these methods in the development of thinking in 4-5 year olds, highlighting how active engagement stimulates neural connections and promotes intrinsic motivation, compared to traditional methods based on memorization and passive receipt of information. |
