Abstract:
This article summarizes the most relevant information related to environmental education, showing its origins and the importance of this field. Our aim was to provide a theoretical basis that allows a good understanding for the meaning of environmental education for the whole society. The article describes trends in the evolution of environmental education in various temporal and local spaces.
