Abstract:
Through this research we established the level of well-being and emotional intelligence among teachers. In our research were included 40 teachers. Our findings established the prevalence of a moderate level of well-being within the teacher population. Furthermore, a significant difference was identified according to the teachers' background environment. The teachers from rural environment have a high level of well-being. Regarding too emotional intelligence, the teachers are situated at below-medium and medium level. No significant differences in emotional intelligence were found between the rural and urban environments. The association between well-being and emotional intelligence was weak.
