Abstract:
This article aims to draw attention to the impact of digital technology on the emotional development of preadolescents, triggering learning, behavioral and developmental disorders, bringing important arguments regarding the negative effects of the prolonged use of digital technology on the emotional development of preadolescents through the emergence of addiction that develops whole series of emotional disorders such as, impulsivity, excessive and irritability, anxiety, aggressiveness, negativity, frustration, rigidity and depression. Digital addiction has become a real challenge for modern society and represents a psychological concept for a new type of disorders that describes the addicted person as a person who digital technology as a means to satisfy certain internal needs. Digital technology addcition has a high frequency in preadolescence and leads to the impossibility of being able to adapt on all levels of this life.
