Reziliența adolescenților victime ale bullyingului: factori de protecție și strategii eficiente de coping

Abstract

Developing resilience in adolescents who are victims of bullying is an extremely important goal in any school intervention aimed at preventing or reducing the negative impact of aggression and protecting emotional balance. In this article, we outlined the specifics of adolescence in order to explain why exposure to this kind of particular aggression can significantly compromise mental health. We analyzed the protective factors involved in the development of resilience, as well as some of the adaptive strategies that have been proved to be effective in reducing the negative effects of bullying. The conclusions emphasize the importance of educational interventions aimed at creating a positive school climate, which is essential for preventing and managing the phenomenon. By strengthening these protective factors, children and adolescents can learn and use effective mechanisms for adapting to stressful situations with potential posttraumatic effects, thus contributing to their long-term psychological well-being.
