Particularitățile manifestării arderii emoționale la cadrele didactice comparativ cu cadrele medicale

Abstract

The rapid changes in all areas of human life, as well as the short period of time between events, can create difficulties in adaptation and the formation of psychological resilience. The individuals most exposed to this dynamic process are those working in the social field, especially those who interact constantly with people and are subject to intense emotional and intellectual demands. Overburdening can inevitably lead to emotional burnout and, eventually, to Burnout Syndrome. Moral balance is directly linked to mental health, and a person who is in this balance can offer qualified help to those in need. My research focused on two professions, medicine and education, which are extremely demanding in the current social context. I conducted a study with teachers and medical professionals to answer the following questions: 1. Will there be a difference in the level of emotional burnout between teachers and doctors? 2. Will there be differences in terms of exhaustion, emotional tension, and resilience between these two professions? 3. Which of these professions is more susceptible to emotional burnout? The results of the study are presented through a quantitative and qualitative analysis, providing scientific answers to the formulated questions.
