dc.description.abstract The research aimed at studying stress tolerance and personality conflict is devoted to the study of the hypothesis that personality stress tolerance, which ensures a person's tolerance to stress and prevents the development of distress states characterised by a high level of physical, mental and psycho-emotional exhaustion, will positively influence the system of marital relations, minimizing the conflict of these relations and determining the use of constructive interaction strategies by spouses in resolving the arising problems. The data on stress tolerance showed that the majority of subjects assessed their stress tolerance as average or below average, only a small percentage assessed their stress tolerance as high or extremely low. The most traumatizing situations for the examinees are those related to the inability to control external circumstances, emotional states (irritability, anger, fear) and personal productivity in situations of overload and large volume of cases. The analysis of the subjects' conflicts showed that men are more conflictive regardless of their age, and there were none of the restrained and tactful men in situations of contradiction. There were also identified men with very high conflicts, who tend to react to many even neutral situations as conflicts. These indicators may reflect the characterological features of the subjects in combination with a high degree of neuropsychic tension and psychoemotional exhaustion of the personality. en_US
