Abstract:
The objective of this article was to analyze the impacts of the implementation of an extension project based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) (2015) in a state public school in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The research considered the performance of a writing teacher and the textual production of her students in the 3rd year of high school. To support the study, we used two reports from the United Nations (ONU, 2015; ONU, 2020), which emphasize the need for partnerships between governments, civil society, and individual and educational actions to promote sustainable societies. The results of the textual productions revealed an argumentative richness and a logical structure, demonstrating the students' ability to defend their points of view. The time dedicated to the project showed that citizenship education and the development of decision-making capacity require a continuous and consistent process. Education, in this context, plays an essential role in raising awareness and engaging students to build a fairer and more sustainable society.

Obiectivul acestui articol a fost de a analiza impactul implementării unui proiect de extindere bazat pe Obiectivele de Dezvoltare Durabilă (ODD) ale ONU (2015) într-o școală publică de stat din interiorul Rio Grande do Sul, Brazilia. Cercetarea a luat în considerare performanța unei profesoare de scriere și producția textuală a elevilor săi din anul 3 de liceu. Pentru a susține studiul, am folosit două rapoarte ale Organizației Națiunilor Unite (ONU, 2015; ONU, 2020), care subliniază necesitatea unor parteneriate între guverne, societatea civilă și acțiuni individuale și educaționale pentru a promova societăți durabile. Rezultatele producțiilor textuale au evidențiat o bogăție argumentativă și o structură logică, demonstrând capacitatea elevilor de a-și apăra punctele de vedere. Timpul dedicat proiectului a arătat că educația civică și dezvoltarea capacității decizionale necesită un proces continuu și consecvent. Educația, în acest context, joacă un rol esențial în creșterea gradului de conștientizare și implicarea elevilor în construirea unei societăți mai echitabile și mai durabile.
