Abstract:
Studiul efectuat prezintă rezultatele, privind stabilirea particularităților biomorfologice și ecologice de dezvoltare, precizarea metodelor de înmulțire cât și determinarea conținutului în ulei volatil la specia din genul Artemisia L., Artemisia abrotanum L. Thunb în condiții in situ. Specia cercetată se comportă ca plantă perenă, erbacee cu o capacitate ridicată de acomodare la condițiile regionale. În Grădina Botanică este cercetată ca plantă aromatică și medicinală de perspectivă. Substanța biologic activă este uleiul volatil, care are ca component principal eucaliptolul, ce îi conferă plantei proprietăți terapeutice cu perspectiva utilizării în fitocosmetică, aromoterapie, farmaceutică și producerea articolelor de igienă. Rezultatele obținute permit recomandarea speciei de pelin, Artemisia abrotanum în circuitul economic prin includerea în sortimentul de plante aromatice de cultură atât de solicitate în diverse ramuri ale economiei naționale.

The study presented the results regarding the establishment of biomorphological and ecological development characteristics, the specification of propagation methods and the determination of the volatile oil content of the species of the genus Artemisia L., Artemisia abrotanum L. Thunb under in situ conditions. The researched species behaves as a perennial, herbaceous plant with a high capacity for adaptation to regional conditions. In the Botanical Garden, it has been researched as a promising aromatic and medicinal plant. The biologically active substance of this plant is its essential oil, which has eucalyptol as its main component, due to which the plant possesses therapeutic properties and may be used in phytocosmetics, aromatherapy, pharmaceuticals and the production of hygiene items. The results obtained allow recommending the wormwood species, Artemisia abrotanum, in the economic circuit by including it in the assortment of cultivated aromatic plants in demand in various branches of the national economy.
