Abstract:
Această lucrare își propune să studieze impactul domesticirii câinilor prin perspectiva teoriei dezvoltării societății umane și să examineze avantajele pe care interacțiunea dintre om și câine le aduce biodiversității, evidențiind rolul lor în procesul de creștere personală și progres social. De-a lungul istoriei, câinele a evoluat de la un companion utilitar în Antichitate și Evul mediu, de la un simbol al virtuții și rațiunii în Renaștere, până la un partener multifuncțional în Epoca Modernă, integrându-se profund în viața cotidiană a oamenilor. În fiecare dintre aceste perioade, câinele a reflectat și a contribuit la valorile fundamentale ale societății respective, fiind nu doar un ajutor în activitățile de zi cu zi, dar și un simbol al loialității, protecției și interdependenței dintre om și natură. Dincolo de funcțiile sale practice, câinele a devenit un simbol cultural, religios și științific, având un impact semnificativ asupra evoluției umanității. Astfel, legătura dintre om și câine rămâne una dintre cele mai durabile și emoționante alianțe dintre specii, care a modelat și va continua să modeleze dezvoltarea culturală, socială și științifică a lumii.

This paper aims to study the impact of dog domestication from the perspective of human society development theory and to examine the benefits that the interaction between humans and dogs brings to biodiversity, highlighting their role in personal growth and social progress. Throughout history, the dog has evolved from a utilitarian companion in Antiquity and the Middle Ages, to a symbol of virtue and reason during the Renaissance, and finally to a multifunctional partner in the Modern Era, becoming deeply integrated into people's daily lives. In each of these periods, the dog reflected and contributed to the fundamental values of the respective society, being not only an assistant in everyday activities but also a symbol of loyalty, protection, and the interdependence between humans and nature. Beyond its practical functions, the dog has become a cultural, religious, and scientific symbol, having a significant impact on human evolution. Thus, the bond between humans and dogs remains one of the most enduring and emotional interspecies alliances, shaping and continuing to shape the cultural, social, and scientific development of the world.
