Abstract:
School subjects in technical vocational education, depending on the didactic logic and curricular specificity, they are meant to contribute to the preparation and modeling of the student’s profile in relation to the current and prospective requirements of society. Thus, through its civic component, the Education for society discipline comes to contribute to the formation of general educational goals through the dimensions of skills: knowledge and understanding; skills training and skills building; the acquisition of values and attitudes. It is found that institutions of technical vocational education through the Education for society discipline are the main factor of education developing skills for assessing the value of cultural heritage through the project method. The understanding and knowledge of the general-human values by the young generation will contribute to the preservation and valorization of the patrimonial vestiges of old times. It is important that educational institutions guide students to take over what is important for the development of a democratic state while preserving cultural memory.
