Percepția părinților asupra rezultatelor terapiei Sandplay aplicate copiilor cu CES

Abstract

Parents play a particularly important role as partners in education and therapeutic rehabilitation programs, as they can provide a range of useful information for adjusting interventions or monitoring progress. In this context, I found it valuable to explore parents' perceptions of the outcomes of Sandplay therapy applied to children and adolescents, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN). The study is based on a survey distributed to the parents of children benefiting from this form of therapy, aiming to identify the perceived impact on their children's emotional, behavioral, and cognitive development in close connection with the symptomatology present at the beginning of the intervention. The results suggest that Sandplay therapy significantly contributes to the improvement of social skills and the well-being of children with SEN, with parents reporting a reduction in initial symptoms and an increase in levels of engagement.
