Viziuni asupra cotidianului în opera științifică și literară a lui Mircea Eliade

Abstract

The article elucidates the visions on everyday life in the scientific and literary works of Mircea Eliade, who introduces a distinctive view of the concept of the quotidian by exploring the relationship between sacred time and profane time. Eliade emphasizes that, within everyday life, sacredness is often suspended or marginalized, being replaced by the profane concerns of daily existence. Thus, the quotidian becomes a transitional space, an intermediary between moments of intense sacredness. His literary work, which extends his philosophical ideas, highlights the quotidian by narrating daily experiences in diverse cultural contexts, journeys between worlds, and mythological aspects within everyday settings.
