Abstract:
The article presents the results of an educational program for primary school students, implemented between September 2023 and May 2024, which focused on moral-religious modeling by capitalizing on the parables of the Savior and religious fables. A sample of 140 students divided into experimental and control groups participated in it, coming from the "Oltea Doamna" Technological High School in Dolhasca, Suceava county. The program involved the weekly presentation of the Parables of the Savior and religious fables to the students in the experimental sample, with the aim of shaping their behaviors by capitalizing on these texts. At the end of the intervention, a questionnaire structured in seven chapters assessed the behavioral changes, emphasizing the educational experiences of the last year. The results indicated a significant increase in the interest of students in the experimental group for the religion lesson, attributing this fact to an interactive and empathetic teaching method. The students learned moral values such as kindness, forgiveness and friendship, and many of them were able to relate various biblical parables. They also developed a deeper relationship with the church and showed an improvement in family and social relationships, showed an increase in positive behaviors, in contrast to students in the control group, where progress was more limited.
