dc.description.abstract The content of the paper explores the role of fundamental values in the process of integrating refugees into host societies through education. In the context of globalization and increasingly accentuated migratory flows, education becomes an essential means to facilitate the social, cultural and economic integration of refugees. The paper analyzes transformative axiological approaches aimed not only at imparting knowledge but also at cultivating empathy, mutual respect and social cohesion between refugees and local communities. The focus is on the need to transform education systems so that they promote values such as tolerance, diversity and social justice, giving refugees the chance to build a new start in an inclusive environment. The article also discusses the challenges facing education in this context: linguistic, cultural and social barriers, but also possible solutions, such as the development of adapted curricula and community involvement. The conclusions emphasize that a values-based approach can significantly contribute to the success of the integration process, education being not only a tool for academic training, but also a catalyst for social transformation and harmonious coexistence. en_US
