dc.description.abstract In the primary grades, narrative texts are the easiest and most engaging literary texts. They present the following features: they develop a narrative thread with events and actions; includes characters, who interact and contribute to the action; refers to the time in which the events take place, which can be linear or non-linear; represent the places where the action takes place, influencing the atmosphere and context; the text is organized from introduction, development and conclusion, which helps the logical development of the narrative. The methods of learning narrative text in primary grades are: explanatory reading, interpretive reading, predictive reading. en_US
