Social intelligence in adolescents

Abstract

Social intelligence, being a specific complex of intellectual operations, allows a person to analyze any social situation, to adequately understand the internal state, motivations and characteristics of themselves and the people around them, to respond optimally to their actions, as well as to establish relationships of friendship, to interact effectively, to rationally resolve the conflicts that arise. Social intelligence is an extremely important quality of a person, which allows him to understand himself and others, to establish optimal relationships with people, that is, it determines the individual's ability to adapt to society and his life among people. The development of social intelligence is of great importance for the successful socialization of the adolescent's personality, it determines the efficiency of his socio-psychological adaptation to changing life conditions. The formation of the child's personality, his well-being and emotional well-being are largely determined by how his relationships with children and adults around him develop, that is, it largely depends on the development of his social intelligence.
