Components and characteristics of speech therapy rhythmics

Abstract

The article represents a theoretical sequence, combined with some practical examples from speech therapy rhythmics. Speech therapy rhythmicity is a component of speech therapy, the science whose object of study is language disorders and their remedy. Rhythmic speech therapy is accessible in all problematic language situations, at all ages; it is a combination of movement, music and words. It starts from certain principles, conditions and deployment methodology. The speech therapy rhythmic sessions offer ample possibilities for the development of optical-spatial representations and skills, visual orientation towards the person speaking, special attention is paid to the rhythm of speech, accent, expression. The therapy of language disorders is carried out taking into account both the motor and acoustic possibilities of people with language disorders, as well as the appropriate choice of verbal material for the logarithmic sessions.
