Abstract:
The article reflects the role of the Digital Institutional Repository of the Scientific Library of the "Ion Creangă" State Pedagogical University as an important tool in the promotion of Open Science. Placing the results of scientific research in the Institutional Repository contributes to ensuring open access, for all users, to the latest intellectual products in the fields of: educational sciences, exact sciences, natural sciences, psychology, philology, history and arts. Thus, the Institutional Repository contributes to the promotion of Open Science by storing scientific publications, facilitating the dissemination and visibility of research results carried out by members of the academic community. Promoting Open Science through the Institutional Repository encourages collaboration, transparency and innovation in research, significantly contributing to the advancement of science for the benefit of society.
