Abstract:
This article presents an analysis of innovative strategies adopted by university libraries in support of Open Science. Focused on facilitating open access to knowledge and promoting collaboration within the academic environment, libraries have become key players in reshaping the research landscape. The discussed strategies encompass a wide range of aspects, including the implementation and management of open repositories, education and continuous training of the academic community in open practices, as well as the development of partnerships at both institutional and global levels. The article also highlights the challenges faced by libraries in this evolution and suggests ways to overcome them. Through their innovative initiatives, university libraries emerge as essential catalysts for promoting open science, significantly contributing to increased transparency, accessibility, and efficiency in academic research.
