Abstract:
Visibility of scientific research is paramount for its impact and relevance in academia, for advancing knowledge in the fields, for recognition and validation of scientific research results, for attracting international resources and collaborations, for influencing policies and decisions, for research output trends. The article reveals the ways in which this can be achieved. It determines the significant effect of digital archives in increasing the visibility of scientific research and the crucial role they play in facilitating access to information, accelerating dissemination of results, increasing citations, preservation and sustainability, and promoting transparency and reproducibility in science. The paper presents the impact of NCEI scientific researchers' results in digital repositories, which allows quick and easy access from any corner of the world to scientific work, removing geographical and institutional barriers, increasing the possibility of collaboration between researchers and fostering the exchange of ideas and knowledge. Thus defining the extent to which research results are known and recognised. Considering that there is great interest in the practical aspect of implementing research and scientific results, one of the conclusions stresses that it is relevant to emphasise the importance of digital archives in increasing.
