Abstract:
The article represents a theoretical study that reflects an important and current aspect in the initial training of architecture and design students through the valorization of Pedagogical Strategies for the promotion of cultural heritage (national and universal architectural). The paper provides some historical insights into interior spaces and their harmonization with architectural contexts. At the same time, it identifies the basic concepts regarding cultural heritage (national and universal architectural) and the field of architecture, analyzing the perspectives of scholars that target the importance of research, conservation, and promotion of architectural treasures in the context of the initial training of architecture and design students. Similarly, the necessity of an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approach in organizing and conducting educational activities in the disciplines of Form Study and Painting through and for cultural heritage (national and universal architectural) is established and argued. The need for the interconnection of architecture and design students with artworks inherited from our predecessors, along with the techniques, methods, and materials used by them in creating artistic works, is also mentioned.
