dc.description.abstract In today's world, culture plays an important role in the development of personality and society. Art, as one of the key areas of culture, makes a significant contribution to the formation of students' competences. Communicating through art in visual art education classes is an essential means of building cultural and intercultural competence in pupils. Art not only stimulates creativity, but also improves communication skills, emotional intelligence and information literacy. In the context of art education, art becomes a tool through which pupils learn to communicate, express ideas and explore cultural diversity. Through art, pupils develop skills of receptivity, empathy and seeing from a variety of perspectives. By communicating with art, pupils learn to interpret and appreciate various works of art, thus developing their aesthetic sense and cultural competence. In the same way, art education contributes to the formation of an intercultural vision and the development of skills needed to interact with others from different cultural backgrounds. Communication through art can be an effective means of developing these skills, as it allows pupils to immerse themselves in the world of art, to communicate with others, to express their thoughts and feelings and to receive feedback in the same vein. Communication through art contributes to exploring cultural diversity, expressing cultural identity, promoting intercultural dialogue, developing empathy, stimulating creativity and critical thinking, promoting tolerance and respect. These aspects are reliable benchmarks for the formation of cultural and intercultural competences in students. en_US
