Biserica Ortodoxă după pandemie: comunicare și limbaj

Abstract

The years 2020-2022 were a special period for the entire world community, especially for representatives of religious communities. If the educational process was adapted to online learning, religious communities faced the problem of divine service in places of worship, as well as communication between believers. Since the term community implies both verbal communion - prayer, moral-spiritual education and charitable actions, as well as non-verbal communion - receiving communion and kissing icons, all of them raised a series of problems, gave birth to restrictions, launched a series of confrontations and debates. The biggest difficulty and reason for a conflict with civil society started due to the way in which the Orthodox Church offered communion during the pandemic. The issue has been championed and promoted by the media and the internet community. What actually happened, and how public opinion influenced Christian believers, will be told in my report.
