Ocazionalismele în sistemul general al limbii

Abstract

This article deals occasionalisms as creative elements in the general system of the language and points out the main process of their formation by derivation with suffixes. Occasionalisms are not derogatory words that jeopardize communication, but new words that demonstrate the language's ability to create new lexemes. The process of forming these new words, created by speakers, is not new and refers to most languages being determined by the linguistic system, demonstrates and develops semantic lexeme creation and grammatical capabilities of the system, coming with its development tendencies. These occasional units are aimed at restoring the connection between the semantic, cognitive and content elements that are the basis of the integrity of the text, outlining the involvement of certain subjects in some events, delimiting the periods of manifestation of some political formations or presenting the consequences of some processes that the society went through. Being presented as a reflection of lived events, the article highlights the meaning and role of occasional units in journalistic and artistic texts, their application in various contexts and at different stages of the lesson.
