The philosophy of the middle ages is characterized by increased attention to man's inner world. One of the central concepts in the analysis of medieval man is shaming. Aurelius Augustine is regarded as a master in the description of this concept. The philosopher interprets the shame as a moral law, realizing that you have to go into debt. The shame is universal, it causes the subjective consciousness in the process of moral assessment of the actions of each individual. Shame it warns, it grinds through guilt, sin personal awareness. Thus, the moral conscience of the early Middle Ages, the phenomenon of shame — for a place absolutely special. Christian culture can be called the "culture of shame — for". |
