In a world marked by the rapidity of technological changes and the continuous need for innovation in education, the use of educational platforms in the teaching of mathematics represents a significant opportunity to improve the learning process and stimulate students' interest in this essential field. In this context, the STEAM concept (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) provides a suitable framework for exploring and applying educational platforms in teaching mathematics, integrating essential elements from various fields and promoting holistic and interdisciplinary learning. Educational platforms are digital tools that facilitate the learning and teaching process by providing a variety of resources, interactive tools and personalized activities for students and teachers. These platforms can be in the form of mobile apps, software or online learning platforms, and their use in teaching mathematics can support the development of critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills essential in mathematics and beyond. The STEAM concept encourages the integration of knowledge and skills from diverse fields, promoting a holistic and interdisciplinary approach to education. In the context of teaching mathematics, the integration of the STEAM concept can bring multiple benefits, including improving the relevance and appeal of the subject for students, stimulating creativity and applicability of knowledge, and developing essential skills for success in the 21st century. |
