Abstract:
This article brings to the fore the importance and role of therapeutic stories, in order to prevent conflicts among preschoolers, by reducing anxiety, aggression, fears, violent behaviors. The most common themes presented are the new contents adapted to the actors of the kindergarten as well as the effects they have on them. Therapeutic stories have the role of introducing children to a magical world with the aim of changing behaviors and attitudes, in other words, to heal. The functions of the therapeutic fairy tale are presented and a quasi-experimental research aimed at reducing anxiety among large group preschoolers and improving behavior, thus shaping self-confidence, with long-term beneficial effects, a favorable ground to support a harmonious development in the future . The proposed objectives, methods, research tools and results obtained from the program are presented. Therapeutic stories help children to discover important values, transposed through beautiful words and expressions, to discern positive behaviors from negative ones and to find solutions when faced with a problem, with the aim of preventing conflicts between preschoolers.
