Abstract:
Although there are a lot of studies about violence, we are in a position to encounter this kind of behavior more and more often, from the family to the school. The situation becomes complicated, considering that many parents, who were educated through violence, try to educate the child through punishment, threats or even blows. This model is one that has negative effects for the child's development, from the perspective that it endangers both the child's present and his future, being visible effects from a physical and mental perspective. That is why there is a need for awareness that the child's behavior can be changed through control, connection and competence. Thus, to become better we must learn, initially to change our behavior, if we want our children to exhibit the desired behavior, then learn to educate the child to have a safe and desirable future. Through violence we only educate violence.
