Abstract:
The article contains approaches to the contents subsumed under the field of Language and communication in kindergarten. It outlines the characteristics of preschoolers and the openness to the integration of various individual, family, social, cultural variables by consulting various specialized works that illustrate various levels of language development in the environment of the preschool education institution. The attention paid to correct expression is emphasized as a prerequisite for access to primary education, the preschooler communicates voluntarily and involuntarily in the dynamics of the roles he assumes in the multitude of contexts by pronouncing words and substituting them, he omits or inverts the sounds in the word, uses gestures to indicates what he wants or gestures of withdrawal, the use of verbal intensity depending on moods, all these and a few more are analyzed under the aspect of verbal peculiarities that manifest themselves at different stages of age and individual pace of development. Aspects of verbal, nonverbal and paraverbal communication in preschool are reflected.
