Reflectarea simbolică a traumei de război la copii. Aspecte psihologice

Abstract

Today, more than ever, the theme of wars and conflicts has become even more present in our lives. The war in Ukraine, geographically closer to us, has had and continues to have various consequences on our daily lives, but especially on the children who are refugees from the war. Moreover, that this war is not the only one that still injures, kills and takes away the future of thousands of people. And if the daily tragic bulletins have a strong impact on the emotional state, then the reality of the war seen through the eyes of children, without filters, generates devastating psychological consequences. In this context, drawing for war-affected children represents a kind of window on their inner world, which allows them to express what they cannot verbalize with words. It provides clinical direction on the intensity of the traumatic experience, traceable to the symbolic representation of the event, the reworking of the past, and the child's ability to imagine a future.
