Abstract:
In the current context, the role of communication within work groups is essential. Assertive, cooperative, empathetic communication contributes to creating and maintaining employee well-being and satisfaction. When team members feel good, communicate and interact well, they are more motivated, engaged and able to deliver outstanding results. A team where members feel good and are satisfied with the work environment and interpersonal relationships will have satisfied, more productive and creative employees. The article presents the results of the implementation of a communication efficiency program within work teams, in which employees from an organization participated. The low scores obtained for the variables that reflect the defective type of communication served as their selection criterion (the emphasis was placed on the indifferent type). The results obtained after the implementation of the training program denote an improvement in communication between the members of the work team, an increase in the sense of belonging to the team, the development of healthy and cooperative working relationships at the workplace.
