Abstract:
The work aims to develop strategic competence among pre-university teachers who carry out international eTwinning educational projects. Through the classroom implementation of these projects in collaboration with international schools, teachers will develop their strategic thinking, which includes needs analysis, setting the theme and objectives, implementation strategies and time management, creative results and adaptability. eTwinning is essentially about working collaboratively. This collaboration is embedded in the implementation of project activities and the realization of common products, with the aim of developing different skills in students. Therefore, a good reason to include eTwinning projects in our teaching practice is that eTwinning facilitates the acquisition and improvement of key competences. eTwinning projects actually bring together different fields and/or disciplines in a complementary way. This projects are based on communication and collaboration with international partners and aim to stimulate interaction with the social environment, the formation of European citizenship to which is added the strengthening of learning strategies that make up the competence to learn to learn throughout life.
