Abstract:
In this article I have chosen to present how the self-esteem of primary school students can be influenced by school assessment, how they are affected or motivated. What I will present below is a brief summary of the bachelor’s thesis from the Faculty of Letters and Sciences, the field of Educational Sciences, specialization Pedagogy of Primary and Preschool Education, faculty graduated from the University of Petroleum – Gas, Ploiești. In the bachelor’s thesis I had a chapter on evaluation, a chapter on self-esteem, and f inally micro-research based on questionnaires applied to students, their parents, but also to teaching staff. In this article I will briefly present what evaluation and self-esteem are, and f inally I will present the final conclusions of the research.
