Abstract:
The armed conflict in the Eastern districts of the Republic of Moldova, also called the war at the Nistru River, is one of those that, during their evolution, have aroused special interest from a wide circle of researchers, historians, jurists, soldiers, diplomats, political analysts of prestigious centers of analysis and strategic studies, international bodies, various university and academic centers, a vast international experience being gathered in this context. Therefore, the conflict was analyzed on various levels, from national to international, in an interdisciplinary and multi-level aspect, generating a vast bibliography. The article will deal with the historiography of the Republic of Moldova on this topic.
