Abstract:
The project is a complementary assessment method that integrates complex learning activities. Within this project we selected the following activities: documentation, research, Interview, round table. Evaluation of the product will be presented through a speech. I started this project with the 9th form students. The first activity was the launch of the project with this group of students from the 9th grade, after studying at the optional classes ,, Lived History, Told History” of the following subjects: Genocide applied by the Stalinist regime, Memorial of the victims who suffered during 1949. The first activity was a round table, being a working method with the students, which allowed each participant in the discussion to expose own information and point of view and at the same time this method created conditions to develop an effective, empathic communication towards each other. The students were emotionally involved to learn the eyewitness accounts of the horrors that happened in Nisporeni village at that time. Another activity carried out within the project was the visit to the Public Library in Nisporeni town. Here they were informed about the existence of a batch of books describing the period of the Stalinist regime. This visit to the public library had a great and positive impact on the emotional students’ state and they confessed that they had enriched their knowledge with such useful information, saying that if it was not for the project, no one in their lives would have known that the citizens of Nisporeni were victims of the given regime in such a large number. For the first time the students had the opportunity to research the archived documents alive and that is why their experiences were different.
